Welcome to the Luxe Retreat, the elegant west-side townhouse of Savannah's historic Silas Fulton House. Built in 1860 for Silas Fulton — one of Savannah's early freedmen and entrepreneurs — this beautifully preserved post-and-beam home has been thoughtfully restored to offer guests an experience that's authentically Savannah and unmistakably luxurious.
With 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and room for up to 6 guests, the Luxe Retreat is the perfect size for couples traveling together, small family trips, girls' weekends, anniversaries, and romantic Southern getaways. Step inside and you're greeted by original architectural details — exposed beams, soaring ceilings, and timeless Southern character — paired with the kind of refined modern finishes you'd expect from a high-end boutique stay.
Each of the three elegantly appointed bedrooms is designed for restorative rest, with luxury mattresses (frequently called out by guests as some of the most comfortable they've ever slept in), high-end linens, and thoughtfully curated decor. Wake up refreshed, brew coffee in the fully equipped chef's kitchen, and settle in for a day of exploring — or stay in and enjoy the home's beautifully designed living spaces, smart TV, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
When the sun sets, head out to the shared courtyard, where a gas fire pit sets the scene for slow evenings under the Savannah sky. And in a city famously short on parking, you'll appreciate the home's rare and welcome perk: a reserved off-street parking spot for guests of the Luxe Retreat.
Step outside the front door and you're immediately immersed in the magic of Savannah's Historic District. Stroll Jones Street — often called one of the most beautiful streets in America — wander the moss-draped squares, sip cocktails on lantern-lit patios, browse boutiques, and dine at award-winning restaurants. Forsyth Park is just a short walk away, and River Street's waterfront views, shops, and nightlife are an easy stroll from the home.
Planning a larger gathering? The Luxe Retreat shares a building with our Haint Blue Haven townhouse, and the two can be booked together to create a 6-bedroom, 3.5-bath estate that sleeps 12 — ideal for family reunions, bachelorette weekends, weddings, and milestone celebrations.
Whether you're here for the history, the food, the romance, or simply to slow down and enjoy the Lowcountry, the Luxe Retreat at Silas Fulton House offers a stay as memorable as Savannah itself. courtyard, exploring the nearby attractions, or relaxing in the beautiful living areas, Silas Fulton Historic House promises a unique blend of history and luxury.

Perfect place. Very clean. Had everything you need for a stay in Savannah. Very responsive hosts. Perfect location. We plan to come back this fall and stay here again. We come to Savannah every year since 2006. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed.

We visited Savannah for a few days. The house is conveniently situated so that we could easily walk to sights and restaurants. The home is comfortable with plenty of space for our group to relax. Hosts were kind enough to allow an early check- in. We would happily stay again.

Three of us stayed at Karen and Kurt’s place. It is extremely well located.Three blocks to Troup square. Walking distance to many other Savannah places of note. But we were away from the touristy hubbub of downtown. The place itself is historic yet tastefully updated. We had an issue with the lock on our last day. The team got right on it and resolved the situation. They were incredibly responsive and considerate.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Communication was quick with the host and the house was adorable! It was in walking distance to almost everything. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the fire pit outback was the perfect ending to our evenings. Thanks for a wonderful stay
